The shortest month of the year has been very stormy in the glens and snow a constant. Beautiful to look at but certainly does not make for easy work whether it be larder doorstep deliveries or farm work. Glad to see the snow drops appearing and spring around the corner.
We welcomed the safe arrival of our daughter Ellen Winifred Houstoun. Within a couple of days Alasdair got up to speed with his new responsibilities as the elder sibling and now has his own apprentice!
