As we left 2020, the new year came in quietly and without the usual celebration. There is no doubt 2020 has been a challenging year and 2021 looks set to be similar. We were fortunate enough to have kept trading. The business grew month on month, ending on a positive note that our December sales year on year had doubled. Our first year in business, also included, a few memorable personal events – Andrew and I both celebrated turning 30, Alasdair’s first birthday and a family engagement at Christmas.
We were asked to document a day in the life of Glenkilrie Larder. Our talented sister-in-law Louise Mutch took all the video clips from the day we shot and pulled together a short video. This video was the perfect addition to the excellent news article written by Rebecca Shearer of The Courier (both links below).
Thank you to all our customers South and North of Glenshee! We are excited to see what 2021 has to offer. Importantly the mass vaccination roll out, allowing more time with family and friends!
